Dear Catty,
I'm writing to you because my diary is not brave enough to absorb what I feel. Getting into college, I had high hopes of freedom, fun and glamour. It seemed like a dream come true when I got into one of the top colleges in the city. Disillusionment is an understatement, compared to the pangs of failed expectations I had. In my letters, I will be telling you my experiences at Golden May college. Although, I've been able to get over them, the scars remain indelible. I know you're alright over there.
